Learning should change what happens next.

I create learning experiences that help leaders understand emerging technologies, challenge familiar assumptions and make better decisions in a changing world.

Learning with purpose

Knowledge people can put to work.

Useful learning helps people recognize what is changing, understand why it matters and decide what to do next.

My teaching connects research, industry experience and practical decision-making through real cases, interactive exercises and lessons drawn from both success and failure.

Participants work with frameworks they can use beyond the session: to assess readiness, examine trade-offs, question assumptions and choose a practical next step.

Ways to learn

Different formats. A practical purpose.

Executive Education

Focused programs for leaders navigating innovation, emerging technology, organizational readiness and strategic change.

Self-Paced Courses

Structured learning that brings together clear frameworks, industry cases and practical tools participants can explore at their own pace.

Global Delegations

Immersive programs for international professionals, connecting research, industry and technology to their operating context and priorities.

Keynotes and Lectures

Accessible talks that explain complex change, introduce useful perspectives and give audiences a shared starting point for discussion.

Applied Workshops

Facilitated working sessions where teams examine uncertainty, test assumptions and build a shared view of the choices ahead.

Perspectives

Articles, observations and learning content exploring commercialization, innovation, industry and the forces reshaping them.

A moving target

Build judgment for a changing world.

Technology moves. Markets move. Regulation, expectations, skills and operating environments move with them.

Effective learning prepares people to make decisions while those conditions are changing. It helps them evaluate possibilities, recognize constraints and adapt as new evidence emerges.

The question running through my work is practical: given what is changing around us, which choices are worth making now?

Featured learning program

Future of Mining.

The future of mining is a moving target.

This program focuses on innovation decisions in one of the world’s most complex and consequential industries, exploring automation, artificial intelligence, emerging science, sustainability, workforce change and technology adoption.

Mining provides a powerful setting for understanding how technology, people and operating conditions interact. The lessons extend well beyond mining.

Depending on the engagement, I am joined by Priscilla Nelson and Joshua Marshall. The faculty and format are shaped around the audience, location and goals.

Bring learning into the room

Global, local or online.

Learning experiences for universities, companies, leadership groups, professional programs and international delegations.

Each engagement can be adapted to the audience, operating context and decisions participants need to make.
